Terms and Conditions for the “Salad & Kinguin” promotion on Kinguin.net

 

  1. 1. These terms and conditions define the rules for participation in an online promotion “Salad & Kinguin” (the "Promotion").
  2. 2. The Promotion is available globally.
  3. 3. The Promotion is organized by Kinguin Digital Limited with its registered seat in 8/F On Hing Building 1 On Hing Terrace, Central Hong Kong ("Kinguin").
  4. 4. The Promotion shall start on November 23rd, 2021 at 12:00 CET and shall terminate on November 30th, 2021 at 23:59 CET (the “Promotion Period”).
  5. 5. The Promotion is not open to employees and contractors of Kinguin or Kinguin’s associated entities’ employees and contractors or members of their families, which include spouses, grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren, whether by marriage, past marriages or adoption or other family extensions.
  6. 6. During the Promotion, every user (the “Participant”) who enters the Gleam competition will be entitled to win one of the fifty kinguin gift cards (the “Gift Card”) of a value of $5. The rules of competition can be found on the Gleam competition page.
  7. 7. To redeem the Gift Card, the Participant needs to visit this website: http://www.kinguin.net/redeem and needs to have a Kinguin account and be signed-in.
  8. 8. During the Promotion, every Participant who enters the Gleam competition will be entitled to receive a -7% discount “BFSALAD” for all products, excluding EurBalance. The discount code (“Discount code” or collectively “Discounts Codes”) will expire on November 30th 11PM CET.
  9. 9. To claim the Discount Code, the Participant needs to join / enter the Gleam competition. Discount Code will be displayed within the Gleam Competition.

  11. 11. To use the Discount Code, the Participant needs to be a registered user.
  12. 12. To redeem the Discount Code, the user needs to enter the code in the cart, discount code section.
  13. 13. Each Participant can use each Discount Code once. 
  14. 14. The Discount Code cannot be exchanged for the equivalent in cash, or of another kind.
  15. 15. All Discount Codes are valid for purchase up to 100€ and limited to 1 use per user. 
  16. 16. If Kinguin determines that the Gift Card or Discount Code was claimed more than once on a single account, Kinguin reserves the right to cancel any order placed with the use of the Gift Card or Discount Code or permanently remove the account.
  17. 17. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kinguin shall not be liable for any third party's performance or for any costs, damages, accident, delay, injury, loss, expense, or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the Promotion.
  18. 18. Kinguin reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel this Promotion at any time if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  19. 19. Kinguin shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these Terms and Conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Website.
  20. 20. In relation to the Promotion Kinguin is a personal data controller (the “Controller”).
  21. 21. Personal data of Participants is processed in order to:
  1. a) allow the participation in the Promotion;
  2. b) verify if the Participant meets the requirements of the Promotion;
  3. c) communicate with the Participant;
  4. d) deliver the Promotion the Discount Code or Gift Card to the Participant;
  5. e) for the marketing purposes of the Controller, as well as in connection with the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller, namely marketing of its own products and services.
  1. 22. Personal data will be processed by the Controller during the implementation of the above goals.
  2. 23. Providing personal data is voluntary but it is also a requirement necessary to enter into the Promotion.
  3. 24. The personal data will not be processed in an automated way.
  4. 25. Each Participant has the right to request the access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to processing or to raise an objection before applicable authorities in relation to such processing.
  5. 26. Unless stated otherwise in the relevant regulation or laws each Participant is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the Gift Cards or Discount Codes.
  6. 27. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Any disputes shall be brought in the courts of Hong Kong.
